Penacook, NH—-Linda LeBrun Taylor, 66, of 95 Heartwood Lane, Penacook and formerly of Belmont, died suddenly at her home, Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Linda was born April 20, 1949 in Boston, Mass to the late George LeBrun and Nancy LeBrun. She was a graduate of Weymouth High School. She completed her B.S. in Business Administration from NH College. For several years she worked as Patient Relations Manager at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic. Her passions were for her family, traveling, Irish music, and gardening. She is survived by her mother Nancy Lebrun of Plymouth, MA, her daughters Keirsten Taylor of Lee, Maine and Michelle (Taylor) Mini of Gilmanton, four grandchildren. In addition to her father George LeBrun, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Taylor. At the family’s request there will be no calling hours. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11:00am. The mass will be delivered by long-term friend of the family and unofficial “brother” to Linda, Father Thomas Schaefer. Family and friends are welcome to attend a collation in the lower level of the church immediately following the service. LACONIA – Jacqueline R. O’Shea, 83, of 19 Peter Court, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Genesis Laconia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on January 11, 1932 in Laconia , the daughter of the late Alphonse and Azelia (Boutin) Theberge. Jacqueline worked for several years for Laconia Shoe. She had a smile that would light up a room. She cherished her family, loved traveling, savored the sun and was especially drawn to the ocean, but most of all she loved John. Jacqueline’s entire family finds great comfort in knowing that she’s finally at peace and at last she’s where she belongs; nestled beside the one she loves. Survivors include her four daughters, Tina Cullen and her boyfriend, Michael Blanchard, of Laconia, Doris Fugere of Laconia, Carol Drouin and her husband, Wayne, of Belmont, Donna Leighton and her husband, Alan, of Laconia; one brother, Francis Theberge of Florida, eight grandchildren; Matt Cullen, Craig Cullen, Tom Drouin, Lisa Drouin, Chris Leighton, Randy Leighton, Shawn Leighton and Jennifer Smith and fourteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John R. O’Shea in 2014. GILFORD – Lois Ann Annis, 72, of 343 Old Lake Shore Road, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital. She was born on October 27, 1942 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Henrietta A. (Beil) Porter. Lois worked for several years as an assistant manager for Kmart. She volunteered at Lakes Region General Hospital and enjoyed ceramics, NASCAR, monopoly, knitting and crochet. Lois loved her family and her pets. She is survived by her husband, Mark V. Annis of Gilford, three daughters; Bette Barton of Alton Bay, Toni Theberge of Franklin and Kerry Deal of Laconia, one step-son, Kyle Annis of Florida, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three sisters; Agnes Mulligan of Alabama, Lorraine DeForge of Belmont and E. Bonnie Herlihy of Laconia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers; Robert and Roger Porter and one grandchild, Kayl’e Marie Lockwood. PENACOOK – Warren K. Glines, 79, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Concord Hospital after a long illness. He was born on July 9, 1936 in Franklin to Harold and Marion (Robinson) Glines. Warren was a US Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He worked for several years and retired from the New Hampshire Veteran’s Home in Tilton. He leaves his wife, Sandra M. (Miller) Glines of Penacook, his children; Joan Glines of Tilton, Joi and Scott Brown of Sanbornton, Jenna Vincent of Gilmanton, Jill and David Smith of Northfield, Jack Vincent of Manchester, two daughters; Yvonne and Linda of Bronx, NY, his step-children; David P Miller of Tennessee, Launa Deshaies of Rumney, Harold and Diane Miller of Salisbury, John and Lani Miller of Andover, Mathew Miller and Dorressea Osgood of Newport, his sisters; Joan Clark of Tilton and Martha Wheeler of Philmont, NY, his grandchildren; Austin Glines, Breanna Glines, both of Tilton, his nieces; Stacey Snyder of Dover, Marion Miles of Hillsdale, NY and Leigh Lewis of Akron, OH, his nephew, Richard Morrison Jr. of Troy, NY as well as many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. GILFORD – Anita Ratté , 69, of 28 Heights Road, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Genesis Laconia Rehabilitation Center. Anita was born on September 27, 1945 in New Haven, CT, the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Suhaka) Choronzy. A graduate of East Haven High School , she was also a graduate of Stones Business School in New Haven, CT and St. Joseph Hospital School of Health Occupations, Nashua, NH. Anita worked as a Legal Secretary for a number of law firms in Connecticut and New Hampshire and as a health professional at Franklin VNA and Comfort Keepers. Anita’s favorite hobby was doing counted cross stitch and participating in craft fairs. She also enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots as well as playing cards and reading. Anita loved helping the elderly in their homes and volunteering for the local Baby Threads program. Anita and her husband wintered in the Isle of Palms, SC, for the last five years. In addition to her mother of Laconia, she is survived by her husband, Alphonse C. Ratté of Gilford, one son, Jeffery Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, one daughter, Debbie Miller and her husband Bill of Dubuque, IA, two step-sons; Scott Ratté and his wife Darleen of Londonderry and Craig Ratté and his wife Karyn of Hudson, two step-daughters; Renée Ratté and her husband Thomas Frantz of Andover and Denise Ratté Garcia and her husband David of Dover, one brother, Walter Choronzy and his wife Barbara of West Haven, CT, one sister, Barbara Whitaker and her husband Paul of Gilford, two grandchildren; Gabriel and Natalie Miller, nine step-grandchildren; and four nieces. In addition to her father, Anita was predeceased by her son, John Wilson in 2006. Josephine was born on December 31, 1929 in New Hampton, the daughter of Helen A. (Huckins) and Albert B. Smith II. Josephine had been employed by Browning Laboratories in Laconia. She had a love for farm animals and gardening. Josephine was a member of the Life Quest Church in Laconia. Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Robichaud and husband Roland, of Loudon; a son, Carl Huard and wife Becky, of Danbury; three grandchildren: Melissa Dunham and husband Darold of Northfield, Jason Robichaud and wife Kimberly, of Hoover, AL, and Carlene Huard of Danbury; four great grandchildren: Addam and Amanda Dunham of Northfield, as well as Jackson and Kory Robichaud of Hoover, AL; a brother, Albert Smith III, of Tilton; three sisters: Elaine Seaver, of New Hampton, Caroline Sawyer, of Plymouth, and Cymbeline Tibbetts, of New Hampton and and many nieces and nephews. LACONIA – Robert Erving Sedgley Sr., 66, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 in his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was born on June 18, 1949 in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of the late Norman H. Sr. and Louella M. (Mulvey) Sedgley. Robert served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a Combat Engineer. He worked as a salesman for Raymon Gerard and Associates and most recently as a transit driver for Community Action Program Belknap-Merrimack Counties, Inc. Robert enjoyed muscle cars, motorcycle riding, woodworking, and boating on Lake Winnisquam. He is survived by his wife, Michele (Dagenais) Sedgley of Laconia, four sons; Robert Erik Sedgley and his wife Kelley, Aaron Joseph Sedgley, Ryan Charles MacKissock, and Robert Erving Sedgley Jr., two brothers; Norman H. Sedgley Jr. and his wife Karen and Charles E. Sedgley, three grandchildren; Emma Catherine Sedgley, Elizabeth Katherine Sedgley and Bridgett Cunningham, his mother-in-law, Rita A. Dagenais, his dear friend who he considered a sister, Stephanie Gerard, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law, Leo Dagenais and his daughter-in-law Tina (Nowak) MacKissock. There will be no calling hours. LACONIA – Eileen “Nana” Moulton died peacefully at home August 27, 2015 while surrounded by her family at the age of 91. Born and raised in Laconia NH, Eileen was the daughter of Donna Nadeau. Married to Richard Moulton, she spent her days working in a secondhand clothing shop, flower and gift shop, and later in life volunteering at the Genesis Healthcare facility on Blueberry Lane. Eileen’s favorite times were reading to, crafting with and writing letters for the residents of Blueberry Lane where she assisted the activity director for many years. “Nana” relocated to Manchester after the loss of her husband to be near her daughter Connie and her family, where she lived for 13 years. While in Manchester, Eileen was able to focus her attention on her grandchildren and her beloved cats. A consummate caregiver, Eileen treated her cats like royalty while sharing stories of nearly a century of memories with her loved ones. Eileen will be missed by all who knew her. Eileen is survived by her daughter, Constance Harvey and her husband Steve of Manchester, her brother, Durwood Woodman and his wife Judy from Connecticut, her sister-in-law, Polly Murphy from Belmont and her grandchildren; Jason Demers, Danielle Tiernan, and Daria Harvey. She was the proud grandmother to five great grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Moulton in 2001. Eileen was a simple lady and requested no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Bayside Cemetery in Laconia. Laconia—-Hugh Joseph Sweeney Jr. 65, of Long Bay, formerly of Essex, Vermont, died August 18,2015 at Lakes Region General Hospital. Hugh was born June 26, 1950 in Boston, MA, son of the late Hugh J. and Marie Gloria (Purtell) Sweeney. Hugh grew up in Westwood, MA. He attended Xaverian Brothers High School and Northeastern University. He was an Electrical Engineer and Quality Manager at IBM for 42 years. Hugh enjoyed boating on Lake Champlain and Lake Winnipesaukee, cooking, skiing, traveling, golf, softball and New England sports. Hugh was also active in the Essex, VT community having served as a selectman, on the zoning board and the planning commission. Hugh is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dianne (Buckley) Sweeney, a daughter, Erin Sweeney of Huntersville, N.C.; a son, Chris Sweeney of Brooklyn, N.Y., three sisters, Jane Sweeney of Quincy, MA, Eileen Howell and her husband David of Stoughton, MA and Anne Pinkham of Quincy, MA. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Michael Sweeney and his brother-in-law Jeffery Pinkham. Services will be private. LACONIA – Eileen “Nana” Moulton died peacefully at home August 27, 2015 while surrounded by her family at the age of 91. Born and raised in Laconia NH, Eileen was the daughter of Donna Nadeau. Married to Richard Moulton, she spent her days working in a secondhand clothing shop, flower and gift shop, and later in life volunteering at the Genesis Healthcare facility on Blueberry Lane. Laconia—–Donald Joseph Bourque, 82, of Darby Drive died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his home with his loving family by his side. Donald was born February 19, 1933 in Bedford, NH, son to the late Donat and Rose (Mailhot) Bourque. Married to Germaine Proulx, he was a lifelong farmer. He worked for Ricca Farms, mostly with poultry for many years. He then worked for Boxer adhesives in Alton and Arizona for 15 years as the plant manager. Before retiring, Don also worked at Tilton Prep School for a few years doing maintenance. Throughout his lifetime he also bought and fixed houses to resell with the help of his wife. Don enjoyed gardening and loved animals, especially birds and dogs. Farming was his way of being able to do what he loved. He also raised race horses, he never raced himself but he enjoyed raising such majestic creatures. Don is survived by his loving wife of 43, years, Germaine(Proulx) Bourque, a daughter Debbie Ridley of Laconia, a brother, Norman Bourque and his wife Ann of Manchester, a sister, Doris Beaudoin and her husband Maurice, of Bedford; four grandchildren, Melissa Bartlett of Laconia, Shannon Bartlett of Berlin, Thomas Raymond of Allenstown and Michelle DiBernardo of Manchester; four great-grandchildren Garyann Mia, Makena, Elijah and Maebh as well as several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Robert and Roger and two sisters, Diane Wilkins and Rita Wysock. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia NH. Burial will be private at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester NH . Sanbornton—–Odilon “Ody” Alcide Cormier, 88, of Leavitt Road, died at his home on Monday, August 31, 2015. He was the widower of Monique T. Cormier who died in 2012. Ody was born on May 14, 1927 in Laconia, the son of the late Alcide O. and Lena (Lebel) Cormier. He was a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region and enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. He was a business owner that remained active in his interests right up until his final days. Ody was a graduate of St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA and the Oxford School of Business in Boston, MA. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served on a minesweeper in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1, Laconia. Survivors include three sons, Kip Cormier, of Sanbornton, Pierre Cormier, of Charlotte, NC and Claude Cormier, of Sanbornton; two daughters, Suzanne Arena, of Sanbornton and Nicole Cormier, of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Megan, CJ, Thomas, Jenna, Frankie, and Casey; three sisters, Doris Simoneau, Stella Roux, and Cecile St. Gelais and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sisters Lorette Piche and Lucille Lafond. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 9:00 am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia NH. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia NH. Jesse worked for many years as a contractor, most recently as a roofer. He had a passion for art and was an accomplished musician. He was an avid New England Patriots fan.
